The curried shrimp appetizer was to die for. The pork loin was a bit dry but the accompaniments made up for it. Broccoli was crunchier than I usually like it but didn’t want to ask for more cooking in case it was then mushy. Overall the food here is very good and the service is friendly, fun and efficient. Nice wine list. My friend had prawn pasta which was very good.
some was excellent, some was good
I really love to eat here. Everything is amazing! Keep up the good work.
If you haven’t ate here yet, then you should! The staff is friendly and the food not only looks good, it’s also delicious. The deserts are a must so save room!
Favorite dinner location in Santa Rosa
Comfy Little Neighborhood Restaurant
We always enjoy ourselves when dining at Bruno’s. We’ve taken out-of-town family there for brunch and got rave reviews from everyone. Dinner selections are varied with the season, reasonably priced, good portions, and very fresh. Our most recent dinner included the excellent calamari app, a lovely salad and the amazing smoked prime rib (which is not often available)–all served up by a charming waitress who helped us with our wine selection.
Pricey, but the server made a point to accommodate one of our guests who is on a special diet; all class.
I’m certain we’ll come back to Bruno’s on our next Santa Rosa road trip.
Tasty specials, and a kids menu (with good choices) are a nice addition to the menu that you can find online. Very comfortable ambiance with both a neighborhood inn look and friendly and attentive waiters. The kitchen delivers on its promise to provide “comfort food”. One small problem was readily corrected and our overall experience was at this restaurant terrific. I’m certain we’ll come back to Bruno’s on our next Santa Rosa road trip.
Great food anytime! Had Mother’s day brunch there…and it was out of this world!
Highly recommend Bruno’s on Fourth!
Great place for a nice evening out. Relaxing atmosphere, small place with only a few tables so you receive excellent service. The food is fresh, flavorful and delicious.
definitely an “under-the-radar” restaurant
Not what you expect by looking at it from the outside. This place was recommended by a server at a winery, and she was spot-on. Delicious “comfort” food; but don’t be deceived by that moniker – it’s not your mother’s meat loaf, etc. Sophisticated without being artsy or overbearingly “chic.” (The chicken salad was superb; good wine list, of course.)
Great ambiance and terrific food
This small gem (seats 35 people) in a tucked away part of Santa Rosa is a real find. The food and service are top notch.
My friend had the meatloaf and i had one of the specials of the day, a braised lamb shank that melted in your mouth. We didn’t have wine but although not expansive, the wine list worked for the restaurant.
Make reservations if you come during regular dinner hours…
